By accessing, browsing, or utilizing the Parsuma Oy platform, services, digital library, or marketplace, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and creators on our platform.

2. User Accounts & Cultural Passport

When creating an account, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. We encourage you to use our anonymous alias system to safeguard your privacy within the Parsuma ecosystem. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Marketplace Transactions & Licensing

Parsuma Oy operates a secure marketplace for digital publications and cultural artwork.

• Secure Escrow: We act as an escrow agent, handling transactions, payments, and file deliveries to protect both buyers and creators.
• Digital Access: Purchased ebooks are licensed for reading within the Parsuma Studio. Offline downloads, where available, expire 48 hours after checkout for security and piracy prevention.
• Creator Payouts: Earnings from sales are subject to our platform commission rates and verified before payout requests are processed.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

All materials, including text, graphics, logos, illustrations, audiobooks, and software code, are the intellectual property of Parsuma Oy or our licensed creators. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable license to access and read purchased publications. You may not distribute, modify, publish, or reproduce any content without explicit written permission from the copyright owner.

5. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Finland. Any disputes arising out of or related to these terms or our services shall be resolved through amicable negotiations, or if necessary, submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the District Court of Helsinki, Finland.

6. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted to this page with an updated revision date. By continuing to access or use our services after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the updated terms.
